Abundant Water in Timor-Leste

Abundant Water arrived in Timor-Leste in November 2018 through support from Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) and our in-country partner, Fokupers. We were awarded an Australian Aid Friendship Grant in late 2018 and used this opportunity to kick-start our pilot project in Timor-Leste.

Since then, our program has gone from strength to strength and is now well on its way towards financial self-sufficiency. To date, our small organisation has sold over 12,000 filters across the country to reach 65,000 people. In addition, generous donors & partners have enabled us to provide clean drinking water to a further 24,000 students, teachers, patients and health clinic staff across the country.
