On the 18th of May, University of Canberra alumna Claudia Vannithone was crowned the first ever Miss World Australia ACT. The 25-year-old PR graduate took out the title in the finals of the competition on Sunday, the first time an ACT competition has been offered as part of Miss World Australia.
Claudia’s help to get the word out about our recent Ripple Effect fund-raising event was invaluable. Here is a picture of her holding a model clay pot filter for a Canberra Weekly Magazine cover shoot. Claudia is a friendly, generous and warm hearted person and it is our pleasure to welcome her to the team.
Claudia will be competing in the Miss World Australia Pageant in Sydney on August the 3rd. The whole team wishes Claudia the best of luck.
