I sat down and had a thought about the technical challenges that must be overcome for a successful filter design. It would be nice to give everyone the complete picture. Perhaps we could even tap into a bit of crowd sourcing to solve some of the more challenging issues.

Attempting to express the elements of a successful filter design concisely and completely, I sat down and put pen to paper, or at least left and right pointer to keyboard! The result was a garbled mess of techno babble.

New plan. Why not shoot a series of short, low quality video footage to actually demonstrate each technical issue.

So you’ve been warned. There will be some grainy and bumpy hand held video footage and it would be great to get some input into possibilities for the design.
